From Tucson For Free

The Freecycle Network  started in Tucson, AZ as a means to recycle perfectly good household items that were being tossed away, and then to find a nonprofit that could utilize the items.  Now over 85 countries participate in The Freecycle Network, keeping more than “500 tons a day out of landfills” and redistributes the former “trash” to nonprofits who either distribute items to the needy or resell the products to benefit their organization.
