Committed to Change, Three Hereos Surface in Libya

“A lawyer, an air force pilot, and a middle aged oil executive walk into a bar…” may sound like a joke’s opening line, but in this case the lawyer, a human rights activist in Libya, sparked the current Libyan rebellion when he was, again, arrested for protesting Moammar Ghadafi’s regime; the pilot commandeered  a Libyan bomber and was ordered to bomb “rebel targets,” refused to do so even when his co-pilot put a gun to his head and responded by ejecting himself from the plane; the middle aged oil executive frustrated with the gunning down of his countrymen while they tried to enter a military base, filled his car with propane canisters, crashed thru the compound’s gates and blew the gates open with the end result of pro-democracy forces overrunning the Benghazi base and turning the rebellion around.
