Oregon Farmer Donates Oyster Larvae to his Japanese Counterparts

"Imagine if you're a shellfish farmer (in Japan) your entire crop is probably up on the beach, on mud, dead,” said an Oregon oyster farmer who learned the business in Japan.

And the oysters he now grows at his Oregon oyster farm are of Japanese origin.  So, the oyster farmer committed to helping his Japanese counterparts by donating the shellfish larvae to farmers in Japan.  Source:  KGW News
