The Biggest Clean-Up Ever--The Oceans

Activists, scientists, citizens, business persons, and all other kinds of volunteers created the Clean Ocean Project with the mission to " locate, remove, and recycle plastic debris from the world’s oceans."

This clean-up project may be the largest ever, but here's the strategy according to Clean Ocean Project's website, "... integrate new and existing technologies to locate plastic marine debris, and develop effective and environmentally sustainable techniques for removing it from the world's oceans."

The website offers valuable links to the issue of plastics and trash in our seas.
