Breast Cancer Fundraising for Young Professionals

THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser began in 2004 in the backyard of a suburban home in Orange County, California. In 2009, the organization was formally founded as THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser to further grow nationwide and reach over 20 metropolitan cities by 2015.

THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser is one of the few organizations whose primary focus is to promote philanthropic involvement among a generation of young professionals ranging in age from 21 – 35. Our goal is to reach this age group by:
  • Organizing annual fundraising events in each market where young professionals can afford to give and participate in philanthropic outreach
  • Advocating the importance of value added services to newly diagnosed and young breast cancer patients and families
  • Joining corporate partners whose passion for young professionals match THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser’s mission
The annual cocktail party is founded on three core principles:
  • To raise money for a local charity organization that raises awareness, funds research, and/or offers value added services to breast cancer patients
  • To prompt philanthropic involvement amongst a generation of young professionals
  • To honor local breast cancer survivors and fighters
To preserve the dignity of breast cancer patients and their loved ones by supporting their unmet needs through funding value added services.
